Plastics can be attached to it for northerns, muskies, and lake trout.
-Cut bait can be attached to it such as a sucker bait for lake trout.
-When hooking a minnow to the Flyer, start by running hook into mouth and out the top of the head as this will keep the minnow straight on the hook and will allow the minnow to "glide" behind the Flyer. If you hook the minnow thru the lips the minnow turns and affects the action of the Flyer.
-When hooking plastic to the Flyer, such as a reaper tail, attach the tail flat-wise so that the Flyer/plastic combo glides thru the water.
-Tie a small in line swivel about 24" above the bait to keep the line from twisting. You'll have a more natural presentation, and catch more fish.
